Founded in 2024 by Cortez and Alphonso, Horse on a Hill Studios (HonaH) was born from a shared vision, they embarked on a collaborative creative project that aimed to bridge cultural divides through music and animation. Today, HonaH has evolved into a vibrant hub that fosters and empowers the individual intellectual properties (IPs) of its founders.HonaH aspires to build the studio of the future. Combining over 20 years of technical expertise with 15 years of creative experience, Alphonso possesses a unique perspective on the creative landscape. He is passionate about championing creator-owned content, original IP development, and fostering a platform for underrepresented voices.His journey across diverse productions at studios like DreamWorks, Lucasfilm, Cartoon Network, Titmouse, Perfect World 

Entertainment, and various independent studios, has ignited a deep understanding of the content creation ecosystem. Recognizing a prevalent theme of disparity in content ownership,  Alphonso was determined to create a space that empowers creators.A true renaissance person, Alphonso's days are filled with a diverse range of activities, from writing and drawing to exploring cutting-edge technologies and pursuing continuous learning. He embodies the spirit of a "Jack of all trades, master of some," constantly seeking to push creative boundaries.

Cortez Cubillas is a multifaceted artist, screenwriter, and entrepreneur with a dynamic career that spans across various facets of the entertainment and business sectors.

Cortez Cubillas is an accomplished artist, screenwriter, and entrepreneur with a dynamic career that spans various facets of the entertainment and business sectors.

Initiating his professional trajectory at NBCUniversal, Mr. Cubillas refined his expertise under the mentorship of distinguished producers such as Alex da Kid and Issa Rae on HBO's acclaimed series "Insecure." His tenure in the industry facilitated valuable collaborations, including a significant partnership with actress Kerry Washington, leading to a developmental role at her production company.

Presently, Mr. Cubillas excels in the Television/Film division at Amazon Studios, where he serves under the guidance of Sam Semon, the Head of International Business Affairs. His remarkable achievements include orchestrating a successful global summit in Barcelona, Spain, which convened over 40 executives. Furthermore, at Amazon Studios, he garnered recognition by securing a victory in a startup tech competition, proposing innovative personalized e-commerce solutions tailored for Amazon Prime Content.

Mr. Cubillas is an alumnus of the University of Arizona, where he graduated Cum Laude, demonstrating exceptional prowess in Screenwriting, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. An avid traveler, he has journeyed to over 40 countries and all seven continents, continuously seeking to enrich his global perspective. Among his personal pursuits, Mr. Cubillas is dedicated to discovering and collecting unique tattoo art from renowned artists worldwide.
